JACOB'S WELL INITIATIVE
Bringing Clean Water to Africa
Millions of people in underdeveloped communities across Africa still lack access to clean and safe drinking water. Families often walk miles every day just to find water, and many rely on unsafe sources that cause serious diseases.
Jacob’s Well Initiative is a faith-driven humanitarian project dedicated to providing clean water through borehole drilling projects in Africa.
Our mission is to bring safe, sustainable water solutions to communities in need.

OUR SOLUTION
Sustainable Borehole Water Systems
Jacob’s Well Initiative focuses on long-term water solutions, not temporary fixes. Our plan includes:
Deep Borhole Drilling
Professional teams drill into underground aquifers, then test the water to ensure it meets safe drinking standards before a single drop reaches a family,
Community-Led Ownership
We partner with local leaders from day one so the community takes pride in-and responsibility for-their water system. No outside dependency.
Registered Nonprofit Oversight
Jacob's Well initiative operates as a registered organization in both the U.S. and Nigeria, with transparent accountability at every stage.
Partnership That Scale
By partnering with churches, businesses, and individuals, we multiply every dollar to reach more communities faster.

Yes. You can dedicate a borehole in honor, memory, or celebration of a loved one. A commemorative plaque may be installed at the site recognizing the individual, family, church, or organization being honored.
Depending on the community size and location, a single borehole can provide clean water access to hundreds or even thousands of people, including families, schools, churches, clinics, and nearby neighborhoods.
The sponsorship typically covers site assessment, geophysical survey, drilling, casing, pump installation, water storage, testing, commissioning, and community training. A detailed project scope is provided before work begins.
Local community representatives are trained to oversee routine maintenance. We also provide maintenance guidance and recommendations to help ensure the system remains operational for many years.
A borehole creates a long-term source of clean water that can serve a community daily for decades. Instead of meeting a temporary need, it helps improve health, sanitation, education, and economic opportunities for generations.
Access to clean water reduces waterborne diseases, allows children to spend more time in school instead of fetching water, supports local economic activity, improves sanitation, and strengthens overall community well-being. Your sponsorship helps transform lives far beyond the water itself.
