JACOB'S WELL INITIATIVE
Clean Water Borehole Project for Communities in Africa
A Project of RCCG Dominion Chapel Houston
Bringing Clean Water to Africa
Millions of people in underdeveloped communities across Africa still lack access to clean and safe drinking water. Families often walk miles every day just to find water, and many rely on unsafe sources that cause serious diseases.
Jacob’s Well Initiative is a faith-driven humanitarian project dedicated to providing clean water through borehole drilling projects in Africa.
Our mission is to bring safe, sustainable water solutions to communities in need—starting with Ogbomosho, Nigeria.
THE WATER CRISIS
Access to clean water remains one of the biggest challenges in many African communities.
● Families walk long distances daily to fetch water
● Children miss school because they must collect water
● Unsafe water causes preventable diseases
● Women and girls face safety risks when traveling far for water
● Many communities lack sustainable water systems
Providing reliable boreholes can transform health, education, and economic opportunities.
OUR SOLUTION
Sustainable Borehole Water Systems. Jacob’s Well Initiative focuses on long-term water solutions, not temporary fixes.
Our plan includes:
● Drilling clean water boreholes in underdeveloped communities
● Partnering with local leaders to ensure community ownership
● Training residents on borehole maintenance and sustainability
● Establishing a registered non-profit organization in the U.S. and Nigeria
● Partnering with individuals, churches, and businesses to fund projects
Project Implementation Timeline
Weeks 1–2: Community engagement and site selection
Weeks 3–4: Procurement and mobilization
Weeks 5–6: Borehole drilling, water testing, pump installation
Weeks 7–8: Community training and project handover
This ensures each borehole is sustainable and maintained by the community.
